Coca-Cola's popular 'Zero Sugar' drink has been recalled in the U.S. due to takeout.

According to U.S. media such as Newsweek and the New York Post, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that 13,152 boxes of Coca-Cola 'Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade' will be recalled. This box contains 12 cans of lemonade.

This can of lemonade was labeled 'Zero Sugar' despite the presence of sugar.

If you look at the nutritional ingredients written in a can of Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade, it contains 5 calories, 2 grams of carbohydrates, and 0 grams of sugar, while a regular Minute Maid Lemonade can contains 150 calories, 40 grams of sugar, and 2 grams of other carbohydrates.

Coca-Cola said it recalled regular lemonade containing sugar after finding it was incorrectly packed in a box marked 'Zero Sugar'.

The FDA classified the recall as 'Grade 2', meaning that 'it is less likely to have negative health consequences from product use'.

The recalled drinks have the code FEB1725CNA or FEB1725CNB. The barcode is '025000121159'.

Coca-Cola said the drink was mainly shipped to retail stores in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, and recommended that customers who purchased it throw it away or return it for a full refund.
