Unique themes such as scenery, experience, entertainment, and diet are factors that attract overseas travelers.
In the meantime, an old house in Bangkok 'Binminga', Thailand, is gaining untimely popularity.
Some rooms are already booked out by 2026.
The accommodation is located near Bangkunnon Station, the MRT urban railway in central Bangkok, and costs 19 baht (about 780 won) to 360 baht (about 15,000 won) per night, according to the accommodation sharing service with foreign media such as Vision Thai.
It is an old Thai-style wooden house and consists of eight accommodations. Seven are rented and the other one is being used by the owner himself.
The owner of this place inherited the house from Mr. Sufos' uncle.
He said he was so scared to be alone that he rented a room cheaply through Airbnb.
The accommodation is equipped with Wi-Fi and public bathrooms, but you have to wash it with water in a bucket instead of a shower.
Most rooms are equipped with fans and mosquito nets, no beds, only mattresses.
Some rooms are only accessible by wooden ladders, which is a consideration when booking.
It's located in a slum and it's an old house, but many people are satisfied enough to leave a review of '5 stars' after their stay.
Currently, 8 to 10 people are renting a room, and some stay for a year.
However, due to poor sound insulation, customers often communicate through walls.
The owner, Mr. Souforth, `is doing this not to make money, but to make friends"The house looks shabby, but the people who live here are very cool."
