According to foreign media such as the New York Post, a rotary ride at a state fair in Little Rock, Arkansas, stopped due to a breakdown on the 12th (local time).
The 16-seater ride consists of a structure in which the seat rotates and moves up and down.
Mother-of-two Ally Metzger said the ride had suddenly stopped working and the children were hanging upside down several meters above the ground. `The staff tried to fix it, but it was useless, and it was activated manually so that all the children on board could escape in 15 minutes," he said.
The children complained of severe dizziness and headache.
The operator described the cause of the accident as a system error.
An official said "The seat was in the air for about 10 to 12 minutes because of an error in the ride's computer," he said, stressing that he is working to prevent a recurrence.
However, despite complaints from users, the operator reportedly refused to refund it.
Ally Metzger said the children who came home were dizzy and had leg pain"We are taking legal action," he said.
