Seoul Bumin Hospital acquires 4 consecutive medical institutions certified by the Ministry of Health and Welfare

Seoul Bumin Hospital recently obtained certification from the Ministry of Health and Welfare as a medical institution for a 4th cycle general hospital. Among Gangseo-gu General Hospital, Seoul Bumin Hospital is the first hospital to obtain medical institution certification for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th consecutive cycles.
The medical institution certification system is a system that evaluates the operating system and actual performance for improving patient safety and medical quality for medical institutions.
Seoul Bumin Hospital passed the 4th cycle medical institution certification with excellent performance by achieving the target satisfaction rate in 512 survey items in 4 areas and 11 essential criteria such as ▲ patient safety guarantee activities ▲ medical delivery system and evaluation ▲ medical treatment system and evaluation ▲ surgical and anesthetic sedation management ▲ quality improvement and patient safety activities ▲ facility and environmental management for 4 days from August 20 to 23.
As a result, Seoul Bumin Hospital has been recognized as a representative general hospital in the region by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, obtaining medical institution certification for four consecutive times following the 1st cycle in 2012, 2nd cycle in 2016, and 3rd cycle in 2020.
Previously, Seoul Bumin Hospital has been promoting continuous quality improvement activities, such as forming a four-cycle certification preparation committee (TFT) and revising and supplementing regulations based on certification standards.
