Singapore Airlines plane returns to front glass crack during flight

A Singapore Airlines flight returned to the country due to a crack in the windshield during the flight.

According to foreign media such as The Straits Times, Singapore Airlines flight SQ636, which departed Singapore's Changi Airport at 11:16 p.m. on the 27th for Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan, made an emergency landing at Taipei Airport in Taiwan due to cracks in the windshield.

There were 249 passengers and 17 crew members on the plane.



Singapore Airlines provided accommodation to passengers and made available for flights departing the next day.

The airline sincerely apologizes to passengers who have experienced inconvenience"The safety of the passengers and crew is the top priority" he said.



The aircraft is known to be a Boeing 777-300ER model, and authorities and airlines are investigating the cause of the crack.
