'Running to the Rookie of the Year!' Second gateway to the Juvenile series, the 20th opening of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (L)

Oct 17, 2024

The 20th National Agricultural Cooperative Federation Chairman's Cup (L, 1,200m, 2nd generation in Korea, male and female, ranking prize money of 200 million won) will be held at Let's Run Park Seoul on the 20th.

Designated as the 2019 Juvenile Series, 'Nongfong Central Chairman Bae' is the second gateway in three series races to select the second-generation rookie award. Last year's 'Nonghyup Central Chairman Bae', the master of the last-minute reversal 'LaRakei' again showed a reversal with a great draw, and the Mingyeongju was unfolded.

A total of 14 heads threw their hats into the ring this year to win the 20th Nonghyup Central Chairman's Cup (L). Here are four major horses that are expected to attract fans' expectations amid unpredictable fights as two-year-olds with little experience in racing compete.

▶Silverlane (2/0/1, rating 40), Korea, Wednesday, and Buma: Two Honor & West (USA), Mom: Fleet Causeway (USA), Face: Cho Geun-sik, Assistant: Ahn Byung-ki)

'Silverlane', which won the first gate of the Juvenile series and imprinted itself as a new strongman, aims to win the second gate in a row. 'Silverlane' won the grand race in September, beating 'The Age of Masterpiece' by four horses, which was leading by a huge draw 200 meters ahead of the finish line. Since his debut, 'Silverlane', who has competed twice in 1,200 meters and ranked first in all, is considered the strongest candidate in this race.

▶The Age of Masterpiece (4 games 1/2/0, Rating 37, Korea, Arm, Booma: Cowboy Knife (Mi), Mom: Lucky Heart (Han), Face: Park Deok-hee, Teacher: Park Yoon-kyu)

In the previous 'Culture Daily Cup', 'Galjak Era', which unfortunately ranked second by giving the winner to 'Silver Lane' in the previous 'Culture Daily Cup' will recover its pride. 'The Age of Masterpiece' has shown a leading strategy to compete with all-out power since the beginning of the race. With a total of four races, 'The Age of the Classic' produced a second-place or better result in the three races that dominated the early lead. It is expected that this race will also show a leading strategy, but the key is whether or not it will be prepared to counter the pursuit of 'Silverlane'. Attention is focusing on whether the masterpiece era will succeed in avenging and protecting the pride of the mare.

▶Captain PK (2/1/0 in 3 matches, Rating 41, Korea, Wednesday, and Buma: Lace Day (Mi), Mom: PK Party (Han), Face: Park Jung-jae, Teacher: Song Moon-gil)

'Captain Peek', who was named in the super rookie ranks by winning the Rookie Takes @Seoul Special Race held in August, is aiming to rise as Captain by winning the Grand Prix race this time. 'Captain PK' has been strong in the raucistakes, speeding up from the 300m finish line and winning the championship with a quick draw.

The booma of 'Captain PK', which received attention even before its debut with a pedigree, is 'Raceday', which produced the winner of the 'American Breeders' Cup Classic', and the mother is a super rookie mare 'PK Party', which has six consecutive wins. Another point to watch is whether last year's 'Captain PK', managed by Song Moon-gil along with the 'Nonghyup Central Chairman Bae's winning horse 'La Rake', will give Song Mun-gil his second consecutive win with a great draw following last year.

▶Blushing Rose (2 matches 1/0/0, rating 32, Korea, Arm, Booma: Shackleford (Me), Mom: Golden Rose (Han), Ma: Kim Sun-sik, Assistant Teacher: Seo In-seok)

There are still only two races to experience, but 'Blushing Rose' is a race that holds the fastest 1200m race record (1 minute 13.00 seconds) of any race horse. In his debut in August, he was somewhat sluggish and finished bottom. However, in the race just before he entered in September, he showed off his overwhelming skills and topped the race by 7 horse races with 'Wire to Wire'. Considering the fact that it is a mare that inherited the lineage of a first-class domestic mare 'Golden Rose', and the benefits of heavy weight, it is highly likely to be the dark horse of this competition.
