Robot sharks, not actual sharks, are on display at the recently opened Chinese Aquarium, causing public anger.

According to foreign media such as the New York Post and Jam Press, a whale shark about 20 meters long swam leisurely at the Xiaomeisha Sea World Aquarium, which opened in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China on the 1st.

However, visitors were angry at the sight of the whale shark, saying it had been deceived. Because it was a robot shark.

The robot shark's body connection was clearly observed and its movement was somewhat unnatural.

Visitors who purchased tickets worth about 50,000 won asked for a refund, saying "Fraud".

In response, CEO Xiaomeisha responded, "We have introduced robotic sharks to comply with laws prohibiting the trading of whale sharks.", he explained.

Netizens are saying, `It's for the protection of animals, but I'd rather not have it at all than show a fake", "I was tricked. Rather, call it a robot museum."

Meanwhile, earlier this year, several animal parks in China were angered by spray painting dogs to make them look like panda bears.
