A 107-year-old Chinese grandmother has grown horns on her forehead, making headlines. The grandmother believes that this horn makes her live a long life.

According to The Mirror and other foreign media, Chen (107), a native of Puning, Guangdong Province, China, has become a local celebrity with horns from her forehead a few years ago.

The horn is about 10cm long, and the residents nicknamed it 'Horn of Longevity'. Chen's grandmother doesn't hate this nickname either.

Chen has no other problems than horns and is healthy enough to have a strong appetite.

The medical team diagnosed this as 'Cutane horn'.

It is a type of edema that often occurs during prolonged sun exposure.

It is a skin disease that causes horn-shaped protrusions due to excessive growth of the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin.

It can occur anywhere in the body, and it usually occurs on the face, hands, and arms that are heavily exposed to ultraviolet rays.

The longest skin horn to date is known to be 25 cm long on the forehead of a 76-year-old woman from Persia in the 19th century.

Medical staff are generally positive, but experts have advised that there is a slight risk of developing cancer, so we should wait and see if the horns continue to grow.
