An Argentine man was killed by his jealous girlfriend for greeting another woman.

Mariano Greenspan (23), who lives in Gonzalez Catan, Buenos Aires, Argentina, died on the 21st (local time) after being stabbed by his girlfriend Natasha Palavecino (32) on the street, according to local media such as Infobe.

The reason was that the boyfriend greeted another woman.

At the time, the two were walking hand in hand, and a woman approached happily. It was a former classmate of the dead Mariano.

Mariano gave a brief hello to his classmate and turned around.

Afterwards, Natasha was angry with jealousy and took out a knife in her arms and stabbed Mariano in his chest, left armpit, and forearm.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, and Natasha, who was at the scene, was arrested by police.

Mariano's father told a local broadcaster that in July, Natasha tried to attack with a knife and tried to face legal punishment, but his son dissuaded him.

"My son cared for and loved Natasha, and this happened," he said, expressing his anger.

At the time, police ordered Natasha to stay away, after which Mariano was found to have asked her to lift the order to improve relations.

One neighbor testified that Natasha frequently beat Mariano.

The resident insisted that "a woman would attack him with stones, push him, spit, and treat him like a dog" and "this woman did not love him, and treated him as a toy or a servant.'

Natasha, who is facing murder charges, was also reportedly sentenced to a year in prison for stabbing her ex-boyfriend in 2021.
