According to Polish media such as Polzatz News, the driver of the vehicle driving through the city center of Stalova-Bola in southeastern Poland at around 7 p.m. on the 18th (local time) found a woman lying on the road.
At first, he thought he had hit a woman, but soon found out that it was a body.
A police investigation found the body fell from a permanent car at Hades Funeral Home.
The funeral home apologized to the bereaved families and citizens for this, claiming that it was caused by the malfunction of the back door of the permanent car.
A funeral home official said "During the deceased's body, an unfortunate incident occurred due to a faulty locking device in the permanent car."We will acknowledge our mistakes and take full responsibility for what happened." he said.
However, it did not say why the body was not properly secured.
