A woman in her 20s in China was diagnosed with severe anemia after eating vegetarian food for a long time.

According to Chinese media such as Jimu News and China Dotcom, Zhao, who lives in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, visited the hospital complaining of lethargy and dizziness.

Examination revealed that her hemoglobin level was only 44 g/L. This was much lower than the standard range (usually above 120 g/L) for normal people.

Zhao, an office worker, recently said he felt tired just sitting in the office and often had dizzy symptoms.

The medical staff said it was severe anemia and urged people to eat even nutrition.

He pointed out that if the general public's hemoglobin suddenly fell to Zhao's level due to trauma, there is a very high possibility that he would have been in a coma.

However, she said that long-term anemia seems to have allowed her body to gradually become resistant and move.

She hasn't eaten meat since she was a child. Even few eggs have been consumed, and they have adhered to a strict vegetarian diet.

She believed that vegetarianism was a healthy option. This was because many celebrities came across reports that they felt better after practicing vegetarianism as a lifestyle.

"Celebrities can stay healthy while sticking to vegetarianism because they have the help of a team of professional nutritionists," the medical staff said. "Blind copying of celebrities' eating habits, especially extreme vegetarianism, can harm their health."
