According to foreign media such as Xinchu Daily and Sina Finance, toilets and restaurants at the top of Huangshan, a famous tourist destination in Anhui Province, have recently been crowded with sleeping tourists.
In particular, more than 20 female tourists flocked to the women's restroom.
They spent the night on mats or cloths on the floor. The restaurant is filled with chairs as well as a passageway.
It was difficult for tourists to make reservations for accommodation itself as tourists flocked at once during the peak travel season.
As a result, the cost of accommodation has soared than usual. Also, with just a few hours until the sunrise at the top of Hwangsan Mountain, tourists chose homelessness.
One tourist said he arrived at around 1 a.m., but he just spent time in the bathroom because the sunrise was just around the corner.
He explained "It was very cold because it was very windy at the time, but there was no place to stay indoors."
Netizens are asking "Should we go sightseeing while sleeping on the bathroom floor?", Reactions such as "unsanitary" and "I feel sorry for you" were made.
Meanwhile, about 34,000 tourists visited Huangshan on the 2nd, a more than 2.4 times increase than usual.
