A British student who tried to get on a plane by wetting his clothes with liquid drugs was arrested in the United States.

Drug investigation authorities and customs authorities were appalled by the new drug-carrying scheme and issued new search guidelines.

According to U.S. media such as CBS and the New York Post, customs authorities at LA International Airport searched the carry-on bag of a 20-year-old British schoolgirl A who was going to Australia on the 2nd (local time).

This was because suspicious objects were detected as soon as the bag passed through the X-ray checkpoint.

As a result of the search, more than a dozen t-shirts with drugs were found inside the lining of the bag.

The T-shirt was doused with liquid drugs and dried and hardened. The weight of the drug was estimated to be several kilograms, and the total weight of the shirt reached 13 kilograms.

During the investigation, she submitted a receipt saying she had purchased new clothes. It also denied the allegations that it knew nothing about the drugs. But police detained her for possessing drugs to distribute them.

"Originally, the drug was in powder form, but it appears to have been dissolved using a special solution, then applied to and soaked in a T-shirt," said an agent with the Homeland Security Investigations Agency.
