A day before the U.S. presidential election, a poll has revealed that they are concerned about riots after the vote count.

Foreign media, including the Daily Mail, reported the results of a survey conducted by pollster J.L. Partners.

In a survey of 1,003 voters, the company said more than 25% of respondents said there would be a riot no matter who wins, Democratic Harris or Republican Trump. Ten percent were concerned about a civil war.

More than one in five respondents (22%) said the Democratic Party's victory would lead to a repeat of the January 6 incident three years ago, while 21% said the election site or Democratic Party officials would be targeted by direct attacks.

The January 6th incident was an incident in which supporters of former President Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

If Trump won the electorate by a narrow margin, Americans estimated that 'violence on the streets' was more likely to occur in the form of violent protests.

In addition, 13% of Trump's supporters expected a civil war if Republicans lost.

On the other hand, 9% of Harris supporters expected a nationwide clash if the Democratic Party wins.

Among the voters of Trump (18%) and Harris (16%), they said they would use violence if they thought the election was unfair.

One MP also noted that "Harris could bleed if he wins."

As tensions rise ahead of the presidential election, several U.S. states are preparing for any contingency, including mobilizing defense forces.
