Cheonan Hospital of Soonchunhyang University, Forum of Related Institutions to Respond to New Infectious Diseases

On the 14th, Cheonan Hospital (Director Lee Moon-soo), affiliated with Soonchunhyang University, a hospital specializing in infectious diseases in the Chungcheong area, held the "1st Forum on Related Institutions to Respond to New Infectious Diseases" in Ramada Angkor by Windumcheonan.
The forum, which was held as part of the government's 「2024 Medical Response System Establishment Project centered on infectious disease hospitals」, was organized to maintain and develop a cooperative system for responding to infectious diseases in the Chungcheong area.
The forum, which was held with more than 70 people from the Chungcheong Disease Response Center of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Chungcheong Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Support Group, and local governments and medical institutions in Chungcheong Province, began with a congratulatory speech by Lee Ju-hyun, head of the Chungcheong Disease Response Center, and was presented in the order of awards for meritorious people and annual presentations.
Five individuals and two institutions, including Professor Jeon Min-hyuk (Infectious Medicine Department at Suncheonhyang University Cheonan Hospital), were awarded the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for their contributions to the management and prevention of infectious diseases in Chungcheong Province.
In the following year's announcement, three years were announced: ▲ Post-pandemic Medical Response System Establishment Direction (Lee Jae-gap, professor at Hallym University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital) ▲ New Infectious Disease Response System (Park Jung-wan, professor at Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital) ▲ Progress in developing contents for education programs to respond to infectious diseases through the use of open metaverse platforms and the direction of development in the next year's operation (Kim Tae-hun, Kim Min-wook, computer software engineering department at Soonchunhyang University).
