CJ should be a young person's dreamerBased on Chairman Lee Jae-hyun's social contribution philosophy, the CJ Sharing Foundation and the CJ Cultural Foundation have been established to continue CJ's own "Cultural Social Contribution" activities through cultural business infrastructure, which is a strength of the company.
In particular, the CJ Sharing Foundation is actively supporting various cultural experiences and creative activities tailored to the stage growth of children and adolescents through CJ's sharing platform and CJ Donors Camp, which allows anyone to easily participate in donations so that children can grow healthy in equal opportunities.
Among them, the CJ Donors Camp Youth Culture Club' project, which has been underway since 2019, is a representative support project of the CJ Sharing Foundation that provides opportunities for teenagers to become creators themselves and experience the entire process of cultural creative activities from planning to completing creative works. So far, about 1,200 clubs and about 13,000 middle and high school students in middle and high school and local children's centers across the country have supported cultural creation and experience activities incorporating CJ's cultural infrastructure in a total of six categories, including broadcasting, film, music, performances, cooking, and fashion.
Starting in 2022, the Youth Culture Club 'Scholarship' and 'CJ Internship' programs have been established to provide scholarships and career experience opportunities to teenagers and young people who want to grow into cultural experts, and have become CJ's own successful cultural and social contribution. This year, a total of 250 clubs and 2,900 teenagers participated and received support, and 26 of them were selected for the Advance course and received systematic cultural creation education.
Every year 'CJ Donors Camp Youth Culture Club Showcase', which decorates the grand finale of 'Youth Culture Club', is a special time designed to present the works created by teenagers to the public.
This year, in addition to 26 advanced clubs, 2 teams from the Explore course club and 1 team from the excellent club of 『Creative School Jeonnam" operated in cooperation with the Jeonnam Provincial Social Service Institute participated, and a total of 29 clubs presented their works at the showcase.
