As soon as China's Hainan Airlines took off, the engine caught fire.

According to foreign media such as the Daily Mail, a fire broke out on the right engine of the Hainan Airlines Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which took off from Fiumicino Airport in Rome, Italy, at around 9:55 a.m. on the 10th (local time).

As a result, the aircraft returned to Fiumicino Airport and made an emergency landing.

The plane, which was heading to Shenzhen, China, had 249 passengers and 16 crew members on board.

Italian aviation authorities and police said the engine fire broke out when the plane collided with a bird shortly after takeoff.

No one was injured in this accident. Authorities are closely investigating the accident.
