According to local media such as the Thai Nation, Thai police indicted Malaysian singer Eda Ezrin (real name: Wan Norsahida Ajlin Wan Ismail, 28) and five accomplices on charges of attempting and possessing drugs. Two of them were charged with illegal entry.
Police raided the hotel room where Eda Ezrin and her accomplices stayed early on the 1st and found more than 6,000 methamphetamine pills.
Ezrin rose to fame with her hit song 'Cinta Setandan Pisang' released last year and recently entered Thailand for a fan meeting.
Illegal drugs have been found, but the suspects, including Ezrin, deny the charges that they are not theirs.
However, police said all six of them tested positive for drugs.
