Gyeongsang National University Hospital, the results of the infection control workshop for infectious diseases

Gyeongsang National University Hospital (Hospital Director Ahn Sung-ki) announced that it held the '2nd Infection Control Workshop for Infectious Diseases in 2024' for people in charge of infection control at medical institutions in Gyeongsangnam-do from 1 p.m. on the 19th in the grand education room on the 2nd floor of the joint center.
The infection control workshop for infectious diseases is an event jointly organized by six responsible medical institutions in Gyeongsangnam-do, and is designed to strengthen the infection control capabilities of local medical institutions following the event held in the first half of the year.
In this workshop, employees from the National University Hospital's infection control room, including Park Nam-jung, head of the infection control room at Pusan National University Hospital, participated as instructors to strengthen the participants' infection control capabilities by sharing the latest guidelines and cases on infection control for infectious diseases.
In addition to infection control for infectious patients, it has also received great response from infection control personnel at local medical institutions, including helping to prepare new items among the certification standards for medical institutions in the fourth cycle of nursing hospitals.

Meanwhile, Gyeongsang National University Hospital was designated as a regional responsible medical institution in Gyeongsangnam-do by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2019 and is promoting the 「Project to Establish a Public Health Medical Cooperation System」. Accordingly, ▲ Workshop to strengthen the capacity of visiting health care project managers at public health centers ▲ Training to strengthen the capacity of health care institutions in vulnerable areas of emergency medical care ▲ Conference for 119 paramedics has been prepared and carried out.
