Gyeongsang National University Hospital selects excellent institutions for the second consecutive year in disaster management evaluation based on national core

Gyeongsang National University Hospital (Hospital Director Ahn Sung-ki) was selected as an excellent institution for two consecutive years following last year as it obtained the highest grade in the '2024 National Core Disaster Management Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.
'National core foundation' refers to facilities, information technology systems, assets, etc. that can have a significant impact on the national economy, the safety and health of the people, and the core functions of the government, such as energy, information and communication, transportation, and health care.
This evaluation was conducted on 144 institutions designated as national core bases under the 「Basic Act on Disaster and Safety Management」, and disaster management performance was evaluated according to a total of 13 evaluation indicators, including key risk selection, management strategy establishment, and key risk management.
Gyeongsang National University Hospital was selected as an excellent institution by receiving high scores on ▲ establishing a consistent and objective protection plan through the introduction of scientific analysis ▲ joint intensive risk inspection and response training ▲ preventing preemptive accidents through the introduction of the Cheongwon police system.
Ahn Sung-ki, the head of the hospital, said "Gyeongsang National University Hospital makes it a top priority to provide timely and appropriate emergency medical support in any event of a disaster."We will continue to do our best as an organization dedicated to the lives and safety of residents of western Gyeongnam Province."," he said.
