Hallim University's Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital, Kimjang Sharing Volunteer, delivers warmth to the underprivileged

Hallim University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital (Hospital Director Lee Dong-jin) participated in the volunteer work of the '2024 Yeongdeungpo-gu Kimchi Festival' held at Dangsan Park on the 19th.
Organized by the Yeongdeungpo-gu Volunteer Center and sponsored by various companies such as Hallim University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital, the event was designed to present a warm winter to the vulnerable in the community.
Despite the cold weather, 520 people, including the Sharing Volunteer Group of Hallim University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital, the Yeongdeungpo-gu Social Welfare Council, and local residents, gathered to make about 2,900 boxes of kimchi.
The volunteers of the Sharing Volunteer Group at Hallim University's Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital will deliver the completed kimchi directly to 435 vulnerable households and social welfare facilities in Yeongdeungpo-gu.
Park Chul-kyu, the executive director of Hallim University's Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital, said "I hope the kimchi made at this sharing event will be a small help to the neighbors in the community in the cold winter.""Hallim University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital will continue its social contribution activities by continuously practicing sharing as a member of the community in Yeongdeungpo-gu."."
As part of the Wero campaign, Hallim University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital has been practicing various love sharing for the vulnerable in the community, such as sharing kimchi of love, sharing rice of love, and holding a bazaar to support patient treatment costs every year. The Wero campaign is designed to promote the positive hospital experience of patients and to create a culture in which patients, guardians, and faculty members in the hospital offer real comfort to each other.
