According to foreign media such as the Daily Mail, the UK's Chester Crown Court sentenced a woman in court for neglecting and abusing an infant.
Police and child protection authorities investigated that she kept her daughter, who was born in early 2020, hidden in a drawer under her bed until 2023.
It was kept a secret from his spouse and other children. The woman was not living with her family.
She was found to have fed her child powdered milk or milk through a syringe.
Child neglect was revealed when a social worker visited her home last year.
The social worker followed the child's cry and opened the drawer under the bed, and there was a small girl in it.
The three-year-old child was malnourished because he did not eat enough food and was small enough to be similar to a seven-month-old child because he did not get sunlight. Also, the child was unable to speak.
The child was immediately transferred to a care institution for treatment. It is currently being protected in a consignment facility.
In a police investigation, the mother said she was unknowingly pregnant and was really scared when she gave birth, adding that the baby was not part of the family.
She also claimed that the baby was not always in the drawer and never closed it.
The court sentenced the woman to seven years in prison, `It was a complete defiance of faith", he pointed out.
The judge said "The little girl must have experienced a near-living death in it. This is a disaster."
