On the 19th, the second first-generation racehorse auction was held this year at the Korea Racing Authority auction house located in Jeju Ranch of the Korea Racing Authority (Chairman Chung Ki-hwan).

At the site, a total of 144 racehorses were listed, and 38 were sold and met with new owners. The successful bid rate was 26.3 percent. The total successful bid was 1.89 billion won, and the average successful bid was 49.89 million won per head. This is 2.57 million won higher than the average successful bid price of the auction held in November last year.

The highest winning bid in the auction was a list of water horses listed at No. 146 and No. 157, worth 93 million won. This mallet, produced by Yeonhak producer No. 146, is a symbol of the Jangsu Ranch's representative seed horse, 'Shackleford (Buma)', and 'Puldyeo (Moma)'. In addition, the water horse produced by producer Kang Tae-jong No. 157 is the Jama of Tasmana', which crossed with the representative seed horse 'Hansen' of Jeju Ranch.




Meanwhile, this is the fifth racehorse auction that began in March, and the last auction of the year is scheduled for December 10.
