According to news 18 and other local media, believers in a temple in Brindavan, Uttar Pradesh, India, lined up long to drink water falling from the elephant statue. It was considered by people to be the holy water from the feet of the god Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Vishnu, the Hindu god.
Locally, Krishna is revered as a god of protection, compassion, and love.
Believers drank water with cups or hands, and some poured water on their heads as a sign of reverence.
However, this was the water that came out when the air conditioner was running.
The employee said "It was identified as condensate from turning on the air conditioner" and "We are informing visitors not to drink due to the risk of infection."
Netizens are responding to "If you believe in a holy water, it's a holy water"," "a sacred experience made by an air conditioner"," "You have to install an information sign", and "There must have been someone who is sick after drinking.'"
