Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered a rescue reward of about 7 billion won for each Israeli hostage kidnapped by Hamas.

According to local media such as The Times of Israel, Netanyahu made the remarks during a visit to a military unit in northern Gaza on the 19th (local time).

He reiterated his offer of generous compensation to the Gazans if they handed over Israeli hostages, offering $5 million (about 6.96 billion won) in compensation per prisoner. Safe evacuation was also promised.



He also said "The choice is in the hands of the hostage-takers, but the outcome will be the same. We'll bring all the hostages home"We won't give up on them."

He emphasized that `we will find out who harms our hostages to the end and make them pay.'



Israeli authorities estimate that 97 of the 251 hostages currently kidnapped by Hamas remain in Gaza.
