In front of her husband, eight people were married to a newly married couple for sexual assault

According to local media such as India Daily, a newlywed couple passing through the Kanchirapara railway bridge in Kalyani, Kolkata, India, was attacked by eight gunmen in the early morning of the 30th (local time). The gunmen assaulted her husband en masse, and the wife dragged her to the forest under the bridge and raped her.
After the gunmen left, the couple called the police.
The couple were kicked out by a family opposing their marriage and tried to spend the night at the Kanchirapara railway station, and were eventually killed while walking on the track overnight.
The dispatched police conducted an on-site investigation while allowing women to undergo examinations.
After a search, the police first arrested four people living in a nearby village and caught the other four hours later.
