International St. Mary's Hospital, Ganghwa Order Book Medical Service'1 Island 1 Week Hospital'Part

Catholic Kwandong University International St. Mary's Hospital (Bride Kim Hyun-soo) visited Jumundo Island, Seodo-myeon, Ganghwa-gun, Incheon on the 6th and provided medical services to residents.
This medical service was carried out as part of the agreement '1 Island 1 Main 治 Hospital' which is a free medical project for public-private cooperation island areas promoted with Incheon Metropolitan City.
International St. Mary's Hospital formed a medical volunteer group of 18 people, including oriental medicine professor Lee Jin-hyun, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, and administrative staff, led by rehabilitation medicine professor Lee Beom-seok.
The medical volunteer group conducted △ medical treatment and counseling △ blood pressure and blood sugar tests △ acupuncture △ thermotherapy △ nutrient solution administration △ exercise education for local residents in Jumundo.
Professor Lee Beom-seok of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine said, `It was rewarding to be able to deliver warm warmth to the elderly even in Jumundo Island, which is in the blind spot of medical care,' and added, `We will continue to do our best to provide high-quality medical services to the island area as a university hospital in the region.'
