KCC Glass HomeC Interior, '2024 Korea Interior Architecture Competition' Awards Ceremony to be held successfully

KCC Glass announced on the 9th that it has successfully completed the award ceremony for the '2024 Korea Indoor Architecture Competition' co-hosted by the interior brand 'HomC Interior' and the 'Korea Indoor Architects Association (KOSID)' at the Seoul Urban Architecture Exhibition Hall.

The Korea Indoor Architecture Competition is a representative indoor architectural design contest in Korea that has established itself as a gateway to new designers, and boasts a long tradition of celebrating its 36th anniversary this year. KCC Glass has been co-hosting the contest for 15 years since 2010 through HomeCC Interior to expand the base of interior architectural design and discover talent.

Many talented future interior architectural designers participated in the contest as well. A total of 238 works were submitted through the submission of works that closed in October, and 99 works, including the grand prize (1 point) and the best prize (2 points), were selected as the final winners after two suspected investigations. The grand prize winners were awarded a certificate and 6 million won in prize money, while the grand prize winners were awarded a certificate and 3 million won in prize money, and other award-winning works were given a certificate or prize money, respectively.




The honor of this year's grand prize went to Ahn Hee-young of Konkuk University's Glocal Campus, who submitted his work name 'The Beginning of Water'. The best prize 'Home C' Award' was selected by the team of Gachon University Lee A-ra, Lee Na-kyung, and Choi Hee-yeon under the name of the work 'Jeongaeedang 情愛', and the team of Inha Technical University Jang Min-ji and Lim Sun-young were selected for the other best prize 'Hyeon Shim-won (顯) and 'Showing Your Heart at the Memorial Garden'.

Heo Hyuk, chairman of the Korea Indoor Architects Association, who co-hosted the contest, said, "The Korea Indoor Architecture Competition, which began in 1989, has firmly established itself as a representative indoor architectural design contest in Korea." Many talented new designers participated this year as well, showing a bright future for Korea's indoor architectural design", he expressed his feelings.
