The Korea Racing Authority (KOSHA-MS) conducted a joint safety festival with the Anyang branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (Director Lee Hu-song) and the Gyeonggi Western branch of the Korea Safety and Health Corporation (Governor Kim Hyung-seok), and at the same time achieved the feat of being judged 'fit' for four consecutive years in a post-examination of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health System (KOSHA-MS) organized by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Corporation (Chairman Ahn Jong-joo).
The safety culture spread festival was the largest ever for two days with the participation of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Korea Safety and Health Agency, and win-win companies.
First, on October 29, a campaign to spread safety culture to local residents was conducted at Gwacheon Baro Market. Gwacheon Baro Market is the largest agricultural product direct market in the country, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korean Horse Association, with an average of 8,000 local residents visiting each day. Eight experience booths were operated at the beginning of Baro Market to provide emergency rescue training, customized exercise prescriptions, safety culture promotion, and roulette prize events for visitors and employees of partner companies.
On November 2, an experience booth was operated at the grass square of the Seoul Race Park, and the Ministry of Employment and Labor promoted the '4 Prohibition Campaign'. At the same time, it spread the safety culture more interestingly through safety quizzes and video viewing using the super-large electronic board Vision 127. At the same time, executives and employees of the Anyang branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Safety Culture Practice Promotion Team attended to enhance their willingness to spread safety culture by sharing safety promotion activities and generating ideas.
Lee Jung-yeol, director of the Anyang branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, expressed strong support for the spread of safety culture in the Korean Horse Association, saying, `The three organizations will continue to cooperate and actively help each other to build a safety net for the community.'
In addition, the post-examination of the Safety and Health Management System (KOSHA-MS) was conducted for two days from October 30th. The Korea Racing Authority has been judged 'fit' for four consecutive years in three areas (safety and health management system, safety and health management activities, and interviews with safety and health officials). As a result, the Korean Horse Association has once again proved that it is an institution that continues to promote safety management and has established an internationally accepted safety and health management system.
Chairman Chung Ki-hwan of the Korea Racing Authority "Safety is the highest value pursued by the Korea Racing Authority."We will continue to work to ensure that all employees, partner workers and customers, and local residents can enjoy horse racing in a safe and pleasant environment."
