Laughing at 14 poisoning women during death sentence trial for 8 years

As soon as she was sentenced to death, she shocked the victims' families and audiences with a smile around her mouth.
According to Thai media, including Channel 7, Sararat Ranciutaphone, 36, who was accused of poisoning 14 people with cyanide and injuring one, was sentenced to death in a trial held on the 20th.
After coming to court wearing dark makeup, she had a light smile in the middle of the trial and did not look guilty or regretful, local media said. It took about three hours just to read the verdict.
Arrested last year, she was found to have killed 14 people from 2015 to April last year by mixing the poison cyanide with food or drink. One person vomited as soon as he ate and saved his life. For this reason, she is sometimes referred to locally as 'Mrs. Cheongsanari'.
The dead included her friends, exes and police officers. Twelve were female and two were male.
The motive for the crime was not to pay back the borrowed money or to steal money or money.
She initially continued to plead not guilty to her charges, but recently admitted.
Police said Sararat committed the crime when gambling caused him huge debts.
A police official said "She borrowed money from her acquaintances to pay off their debts and fed them with a mixture of cyanide, saying they would serve them a meal or drink if they asked for it."," he said.
Meanwhile, a high-ranking police officer and her ex-husband, former police officer and lawyer were also sentenced to prison in the trial.
The three were sentenced to one year and four months to two years in prison for concealing Sararat's evidence.
They all pleaded not guilty before sentencing, but the court refused to accept it.
