Man in his 70s charged with sexually harassing 4 women on plane

According to India Today and other foreign media, a series of sexual harassments committed by a man occurred on a Singapore Airlines flight departing from the United States between 3:15 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on the 18th (local time).
The man is an Indian national, Balasubramanian Ramesh, 73, who allegedly molested one woman four times and once each against three other women.
It has not been confirmed whether the four women affected were passengers or crew members.
Singapore authorities charged Ramesh with seven counts of sexual harassment on the 25th.
According to a police investigation, he is accused of sexually harassing the first victim at around 3:15 a.m., and about five minutes later, he is accused of sexually harassing the second victim.
He then allegedly molested the second woman three more times between 3:30 a.m. and 6 a.m.
It also committed crimes against a third woman at around 9:30 a.m. and a fourth woman at around 5:30 p.m.
The trial of the indicted Ramesh is scheduled to take place on December 13.
Meanwhile, in Singapore, sexual harassment can result in up to three years in prison, fine or imprisonment.
