According to Chinese media, including the Global Times, Liang, who worked at a logging farm in Sansui, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, had an accident last week when a 50cm long tree was stuck in his chest while transporting trees.
The branch came into the side of the chest and penetrated directly through the lungs and esophagus, but he was surprised and pulled out the branch himself.
At the moment, there was a lot of blood pouring out of the wound. Colleagues nearby saw this and rushed him to the hospital.
However, the distance was far away, so I arrived at the hospital's emergency room seven hours after the accident.
Already, he was in a state of hemorrhagic shock and was in critical condition because he was bleeding too much.
I couldn't even breathe properly because of the wound in my lungs. Blood pressure was as low as 83/57 mmHg, and heart rate soared to 112 beats per minute. CT scans revealed bilateral pleural effusion and multiple rib fractures.
The medical team completed the six-hour operation by sealing wounds to the lungs and esophagus.
Medical staff advised "Frequent accidents in which foreign substances get stuck in the body at construction sites and workplaces"In the event of a penetration accident, ask the rescue team for help immediately, do not change your posture as much as possible, and do not take out foreign substances arbitrarily."
