From October 12 to 13 last month, the Wake Up Retreat event hosted by the International Yoga Meditation Association was held at Goseong Fium Healing Park under the theme of Rest.

Wakeup Retreat aims to help participants find inner peace and recharge their bodies and minds through meditation, yoga, and creative activities in nature.

The event began with meditation classes and mandala activities by Lee Jung-eun, director of education at the International Yoga and Meditation Association. It was followed by yoga training by Chae Sun-bi Uluruyo, director of Bundang Branch, aroma therapy by director of the Sacred Jeju All Kind Yoga, and morning yoga by instructor Lee Bo-young of the Pathive Hotel Yoga. Each session focused on participants purifying their bodies and minds and restoring balance away from the daily hustle and bustle of their lives.

In particular, the retriever attracted attention for its mandala activities in collaboration with Leverden. The mandala activity is a process of expressing one's own creativity inspired by nature, and participants felt a deeper connection with nature through this activity.

On the last day of the retreat, the participants shared their feelings and experiences through the chat time and cheered for each other's growth. Through this time, the participants felt a deep sympathy and connection to their journey together and reflected on the meaning of Retreat once again.

Mr. Kim, who participated in this event, said "This retreat made me think about what real rest is in my daily life", "I only had a vague interest in meditation, but with this program, I was able to experience the deep healing effects of meditation and yoga firsthand."

In addition, participant Choi Jeong-in, a yoga instructor, expressed his greatest desire to look inside through yoga in the fall season, and felt a new charge through a big rest where he could do yoga outside of his daily life."

Participants in the retreat said they experienced mental and physical recharging as well as stress relief, and felt how important time spent with nature was to gain inner stability and new energy.

'Wake-up Retreat' provided a valuable opportunity for participants to connect deeply with nature, find inner peace away from the stresses of daily life. The event, which will be held every year in the future, is expected to provide more people with opportunities for rest, healing, and self-reflection.
