According to the New York Post, Shane and Marie, who live in Oregon, recently panicked the moment they opened their wedding hall.
There were only five guests at the ceremony and it was empty.
The couple, looking perplexed, had to march 'lonely' to the music with their young son.
In fact, they had been living together for nine years and planned to have a wedding a few years ago, but postponed it due to the COVID-19 incident.
The couple, who dreamed of marriage amid the celebration of many acquaintances and family members, were shocked.
"I've invited more than 75 people online in the last 10 months, and I've sent invitations directly to 25 people, which is absurd," his wife Marie said.
Initially, the wedding was scheduled for 1 p.m., but was postponed to 2 p.m. when no guests were present, but the final number of attendees was only five.
Marie asked "Why did she do that? It occurred to me that. Am I such a bad person? What the hell has my husband done to make this happen? The thought hung in my head."
She went on to say that "It is more heartbreaking that people who think they are friends still don't send congratulatory messages or explain why they didn't come.""They are still going through a stage of shame and sadness."," he added.
As soon as the wedding video was posted on the social platform 'TikTok', it received more than 7 million views.
