Professor Shim Se-hoon of Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital won the 'Socheon Academic Award' of the Korean Association of Pediatric and Adolescent Psychiatry

Professor Shim Se-hoon (Mental Health Medicine Department) of Cheonan Hospital, affiliated with Soonchunhyang University, recently won the 'Socheon Academic Award' at the Fall Conference of the Korean Association of Pediatric and Adolescent Psychiatry held at Eunmyeong University Lecture Hall in Severance Hospital, Seoul.

The Socheon Academic Award was started with the donation of Socheon Hong Kang, who established the foundation of Korean pediatric psychiatry, and the Korean Association of Pediatric and Adolescent Psychiatry awards members with outstanding research achievements every year.

Professor Shim won the award for achieving outstanding results through various studies such as development of drug treatment guidelines for bipolar disorder and depressive disorder in children and adolescents, and ADHD in adults.




Professor Shim's recent achievements include ▲ Korean bipolar disorder drug treatment algorithm 2022: Child/Adolescents ▲ Korean depressive disorder drug treatment algorithm 2021: Child/Adolescents ▲ Korean adolescents' bipolar disorder screening test development study ▲ Psychopathological study of children of patients with bipolar disorder ▲ Brain waves study of adults with ADHD.
