According to Ukrainian broadcaster TSN, Elizaveta Krybonogik, 21, is believed to be posing as a relative of Oleg Rudnov (who died in January 2015), a Russian businessman and acquaintance of Putin.
Elizaveta, also known as Louisa Lozova, was unaccounted for just before the war in Ukraine began.
TSN traced her and her mother, Svetlana Krivonogik, 49, and claimed they were now living in the name of the Ludnova family. According to TSN, Elizaveta was a student at the Paris School of Management and Arts during the war in Ukraine but is likely no longer there.
Elizaveta is also said to have a passport named Elizaveta Olegov or Ludnova.
TSN finds Elizaveta changed her last name to Ludnova and is believed to have taken the last name of Oleg Rudnov, a close acquaintance of Putin who once arranged luxury real estate transactions," he reported.
Visited at the Louvre Museum in France in 2021, before Russia invaded Ukraine, she disappeared during the war.
Some have suggested that Elizaveta may be staying with her mother in a luxury house in Monaco.
Elisabetta's mother, Svetlana, was born in Putin's hometown of St. Petersburg in 1975 and studied at the Department of International Relations at the University of Economics and Finance in St. Petersburg.
She is rumored to have caught Putin's eye while working as a shop cleaner after being educated in the late 1990s.
In 2020, Russia's independent investigative reporting site 'Project' claimed that Svetlana had built a friendship with Putin when he served as deputy mayor of St Petersburg.
While there is little public evidence, there is also talk of the two traveling together on the same plane when Putin was promoted.
Since then, she has suddenly owned several properties, including a luxury Moscow apartment in 2003.
It has also become a shareholder in Rossiya Bank, which is said to have ties to Putin's key confidants.
According to Proct, she reportedly formed a fortune of about $100 million (about 140 billion won) through Rossiya Bank.
She is also said to own a famous strip show club in St. Petersburg, Russia.
