The Korea Racing Authority (Chairman Jung Ki-hwan) has published the 'Korea Racing Authority 2024 Sustainable Management Report" to strengthen transparent ESG management disclosures to stakeholders and the public.

The Sustainable Management Report is published for the purpose of disclosing the ESG management activities and performances of an institution (company) internally and externally and is often referred to as an ESG report. Recently, as the importance of sustainable management has been emphasized, ESG disclosure through publication of sustainable management reports is becoming more active not only in private companies such as listed companies but also in the public sector.

Starting with the first publication of the sustainability management report in 2008, the Korea Racing Authority had published it until 2016 and was suspended for a while, but has been reprinting the report since 2023 in line with the trend of ESG. In its report this year, the Korea Racing Authority has selected issues such as animal welfare and ethical integrity management as key issues for institutions, and is also reporting new details on the promotion of new projects such as the introduction of online horse tickets and the creation of Yeongcheon Horse Racing Park.

The newly published report can be viewed in the form of a web report on the open management (ESG management) of the Korean Horse Association's corporate website.

Chung Ki-hwan, Chairman of the Korea Racing Authority, said, "We will continue to manage responsibly in various areas in order to become a leading company in the global horse industry."We will strengthen ESG management that everyone can sympathize with to meet the public's standards.", he expressed his will.
