A Russian film company said it provided 50 units to the Russian military, including trams, which are filming props.

According to local media such as the Moscow Times, Schaffnazarov, head of Russia's state-owned film company 'Mosfilm', reported this at a meeting with Putin at the Kremlin in Moscow on the 13th (local time).

Mosfilm reportedly provided 28 T-55 tanks, eight PT-76 light tanks, six infantry fighting vehicles and other military equipment it had for filming. The equipment was mainly used during the Cold War.

In particular, the T-55 tank is a 'treasure class' tank developed in the late 1940s, shortly after World War II.

At the meeting, Shakhnazarov told Putin "I contacted the Ministry of Defense because it appeared to be needed by the military, and the military delivered it."

According to Morse Film, it has more than 190 military vehicles, including armored vehicles, for filming movies.

It has not been confirmed whether the supported tanks and others have been deployed on the battlefield in Ukraine.

However, one source claimed that Russian forces had sent old-fashioned tanks to the front lines.

On this day, representative Shakhnazarov also introduced to Putin that Mosfilm has donated 6 million rubles (about 84 million won) to Russia's war needs so far.

In response, Putin praised the film `Moss Film is our pride.'

Meanwhile, Mosfilm, founded in 1924, produced classical Soviet films such as 'Alexander Nevsky' and 'Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears'.
