Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital, 'Evaluation of Appropriateness of Depression Outpatient Appropriateness' Earned Grade 1

Cheonan Hospital (Hospital Director Lee Moon-soo) affiliated with Soonchunhyang University recently obtained the first grade in the 「Second Depression Outpatient Appropriateness Assessment" conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.
The evaluation was conducted in 4114 hospitals that treated new outpatients aged 18 years or older who were treated for depression from January to June 2023.
Suncheonhyang University Cheonan Hospital received the first grade with a comprehensive score of 86 points (47 points overall) in the evaluation of ▲ revisit rate within 3 weeks after the first visit ▲ visit rate more than 3 times within 8 weeks after the first visit ▲ initial depression evaluation ▲ depression re-evaluation rate.
`Depression is one of the serious mental health problems that increase the risk of suicide,' said Lee Moon-soo, head of the hospital. `We will protect the mental health of local people through the professional depression clinic and the Life Love Crisis Response Center, which has been operating for more than 10 years.'
