The Life Love Crisis Response Center (Director Shim Se-hoon) at Cheonan Hospital, affiliated with Soon Chun Hyang University, held a symposium at the Shilla Stay Cheonan Banquet Hall on the afternoon of the 12th.
The symposium, attended by case managers of the National Life Love Crisis Response Center, practitioners of mental health welfare centers and community organizations, and medical institutions, centered on four annual presentations.
The presentation period is ▲ Intervention in the family of suicide attempters (Lee Sun-ah, head of the psychological autopsy interview at the Korea Life Respect Hope Foundation) ▲ Mindfulness-based suicide prevention cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) counseling technique (Kim Mi-jung, head of the social work office at the Myeongbong Medical Foundation Saeum Hospital) ▲ Stress and depression, and resilience (Kim Do-hyun, professor of psychiatry at Dankook University Hospital) ▲ Depression and cognitive decline in old age (Yoon Hyun-chul, professor of psychiatry at Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital).
Shim Sei-hoon, director of the center, said "It was a useful place where various experts gathered to explore suicide prevention, treatment, and action strategies""We will help suicide attempters safely return to society and make more efforts to reduce the suicide rate " he said.
The Life Love Crisis Response Center at Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital has been operating an emergency room-based suicide attempter follow-up management project since 2013. The center provides various medical services such as ▲ emotional counseling ▲ community connection ▲ treatment cost support when a suicide attempter visits the hospital's emergency room.
