Miss Myanmar's behavior of failing to win an international beauty contest is controversial.

According to foreign media, India's Rachel Gupta won the 2024 Miss Grand International Beauty Contest in Bangkok, Thailand, on the 28th of last month.

The second place was Christine Julian Opiaja of the Philippines, and the third place was the birthplace of Myanmar.

However, as soon as the list of winners was announced on stage, Miss Myanmar Tae was seen sobbing on one side rather than congratulating her opponent.

Even when leaving the stage in a hurry, a Myanmar official removed the crown of Tae, snatched the band, and threw it to the floor in protest.

The official was dissatisfied with the results of the screening and had a war of words with a beauty pageant official.

Miss Myanmar, who was left the scene by tournament officials when she became a chaos, cried loudly.

A few days later, Miss Myanmar was deprived of the third place title. The competition said "Because of inappropriate behavior and behavior that violated various regulations"

Ironically, the theme of this Miss Grand International Pageant was 'A message of love and peace to the world'.

Recently, Tae explained on social media that he was not angry about losing the top title to Gupta.

Meanwhile, the organizers of the tournament decided to ban Myanmar officials from participating for life, which caused controversy.
