On the 3rd, in the 13th Seoul Economic Newspaper Cup '(national 4th grade, age-specific open, 1,600m rating, 50 or less, ranking prize money of KRW 60 million), which was held in the 7th race of Let's Run Park Seoul, the Korea Racing Authority (Chairman Jung Ki-hwan) in sunny weather on the 3rd, 'Thunder Horse ' (Korean 6-year-old male black-brown rating 38 Kim Kwang-myung, assistant teacher Ahn Byung-ki) won a surprise victory with Oh Soo-chul, a veteran's fighting spirit.

Running in his 50th race, 'Thunderhorse' won the championship in about a year, working with the rider Oh Soo-chul. As a result, Maji Kim Gwang-myeong won 45 games, and assistant teacher Ahn Byung-ki won 469.

The 13th Seoul Economic Newspaper Cup, which consists of racehorses with a rating of 50 or less, was expected to be mixed as seven racehorses without experience in the 1,600m race challenged. The 1,600m, which was the most popular before the race, was also the first race.

The starting gate opened with cheers from horse racing fans. Starting from gate 9 outside, 'Best Boulevard' quickly penetrated inside to take the lead, followed by 'Sparkling', 'Tang Taeng Ball' and 'Lafayette' to form a leading group. Entering the last straight line, 'Best Boulevard' and 'Tang Taeng Ball' were fiercely competing for first place in a shoulder fight, while 'Thunder Horse' and 'Pink Wind' attempted to draw in from the outside. At the point ahead of the finish line 100m, he crossed the "Best Boulevard" and the "Tang Taeng Ball" where his steps became dull, emitting the power he had reserved, and he was the first to stick his nose out at the finish line.

The oldest veteran 'Thunder Horse', who is a six-year-old Sumal, has been at the back of the race since the beginning of the race, showing a calm development. Despite having the only 1,600m winning record, 'Thunderhorse', which has been sluggish recently, ranked eighth in the popularity list. However, as if to show off the importance of experience, he beat popular men 'Tang Taeng Ball' and 'Pink Wind' to win the 13th Seoul Economic Newspaper Cup's surprise victory. The winning record was 1:40.9, and 'Thunderhorse' shortened his 1,600-meter best, proving that he is still a growing veteran.

Teacher Ahn Byung-ki, who is in charge of the management of "Thunder Horse", said, "I felt that my temper was urgent, but I have recently changed to calmness. I would like to express my gratitude to the fans who have supported me on "Thunder Horse" even though I have not been able to show good performance often, and I will continue to do my best to manage it."."

About 23,000 spectators gathered to cheer for the 13th Seoul Economic Newspaper Cup, which cost 60 million won in total prize money.
