A Thai woman was found to have suffered for as many as 18 years with a broken needle stuck in her uterus during childbirth.

According to local media such as Channel 7, 36-year-old women and their families in Narathiwat, Thailand, recently asked the Children and Women's Rights Protection Organization 'Pawina Foundation' for help.

The woman gave birth to a child at a local hospital 18 years ago, and has since started to feel persistent pain in her lower abdomen, reaching an increasingly intolerable level.

He was examined at a hospital last year, and an X-ray examination revealed that there was a surgical needle in the uterus.

It was estimated that the needle was broken and embedded in the uterus during the medical staff's suture 18 years ago.

Recently, I tried to remove the needle due to severe pain, but the medical staff kept moving inside the body"The surgery was postponed several times.

When the Pawina Foundation asked the doctor who performed the surgery 18 years ago, he denied the connection, saying he had never dropped the needle.

In response, the foundation informed the health authorities and urged a thorough investigation. In addition, women will be provided with some of the medical and living expenses.
