Chung-Ang University Medical Center (Director Lee Chul-hee) reorganized the medical center organization and launched a new one to promote harmonious growth of Chung-Ang University Hospital and Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital and to respond quickly to the rapidly changing medical environment.
Chung-Ang University Hospital, a high-level general hospital, has strengths in treating severely ill patients such as cardio-cerebrovascular diseases and patient-centered friendly services, while Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital is leading digital transformation (DX) using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) based on a young and flexible organizational culture centered on specialists.
Chung-Ang University Medical Center aims to unite the strengths and resources of both hospitals through this reorganization to achieve joint growth of medical centers and both hospitals and secure new growth engines.
In order to establish the future strategy of the Central University Medical Center and promote rational decision-making, the Planning and Coordination Agency, the Digital Healthcare Agency, the External Cooperation Agency, and the Management Headquarters were established.
The appointment of key positions in the expanded and reorganized organization was carried out by ▲ Planning and Coordination Minister Han Deok-hyun ▲ Digital Healthcare Minister Kim Chan-woong ▲ Foreign Cooperation Minister Lee Jae-sung ▲ Management Director Kim Sung-dae ▲ Audit Office Director Chung Myung-sik.
Chung-Ang University Medical Center held an opening ceremony for the medical center's office on the 17th, attended by Lee Hyun-soon, chairman of Chung-Ang University, Park Sang-kyu, president of Chung-Ang University, and Lee Chul-hee, vice president and medical director of Chung-Ang University.
In a commemorative speech, Lee Chul-hee, head of Chung-Ang University Medical Center, said, `There is a limit to operating two hospitals under the existing system, so it is as if they were wearing clothes that did not fit them.'," he said.
