The CEO of CrossMedia Group is a special exhibition called "Cinema Heaven Immersive" held on the G-floor of Galleria Fore in Seongsu-dong, Seoul on the 19th.At the TOTO' (hereinafter 'Cinema Heaven Special Exhibition') meeting, "When I heard that Korea was holding 'Cinema Heaven Special Exhibition', the movie officials were also surprised" and "They rented props used in actual movies"
'Cinema Heaven Special Exhibition' is a global 'K-Immersive Content' created in collaboration with 'SOOP International', an exhibition agency that recreates the world-renowned masterpiece film 'Cinema Heaven' as a digital immersive exhibition.
Director Giuseppe Tornatore's film 'Cinema Heaven', released in Korea in July 1990, is a masterpiece of the world's film history that has been recognized for its cinematic quality by winning the 42nd Cannes Film Festival Jury Prize and the 62nd Academy Foreign Language Film Prize. The story of Toto, the main character of the movie,'s memories, growth, and love, and Ennio Morricone's OST still resonated with the public.
Federico Dalgas Pandolfini, CEO of Cross Media Group, said "'Cinema Heaven' was a very important film, but the film itself was in the past. It has not progressed at this time. I thought about how, once again, to melt the Italian sensibility to the generation of the present era with what purpose. When we proposed this exhibition, the Italian response was 'Why would you make it?It was . I learned how much Koreans love this movie, and I decided to co-produce it together."
He then spoke with director Giuseppe Tornatore about creating such an exhibition in Seoul. I also consulted with the foundation of director Ennio Morricone and discussed what kind of cooperation I could get. They were also quite surprised to see such an exhibition in Korea. The props used in the actual movie were rented during the exhibition. Thank you to those who lent it to us."
'Cinema Heavenly Immersive Special Exhibition-TO.TOTO' will open for the first time in the world from the 20th to March next year at Galleria Fore in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
