The '2024 Com2uS Professional Baseball Real Glove Award' held at the Grand Hyatt Grand Ballroom in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 1st has been selected by active professional baseball players every year since 2013. This year, more than 400 professional baseball players and officials from 10 KBO League teams attended. At Com2uS, Hong Ji-woong, director of production, Park Young-joo, director of the Marketing & Content Center, and Kim Jung-ho, director of the baseball business division, were presenters.
At the event, players were honored in 13 categories, including the best defenders in each position, including starting pitchers, catchers, and shortstop, the Best Keystone Combination Award, and the Player of the Year Award. It added to the fun of producing videos of award-winning candidates and winners as players in the Comtus Professional Baseball series.
In particular, KIA Kim Do-young was selected for the 'Fans' Choice Award, where Com2uS' baseball game fans directly pick the best key player. In October, Comtus voted for users of 'Comtus Professional Baseball 2024' and 'Comtus Professional Baseball V24', and Kim Do-young received overwhelming support of about 80%. Kim Do-young recently joined the 2025 model of Comtus professional baseball V24 and plans to meet fans in various ways.
Com2uS Hong Ji-woong, the producer of the 'Fans' Choice Award, said, "Com2uS has become the biggest medium for baseball fans to enjoy the season deeper and interact with players through a number of 'Compeya' series over the past 20 years. We will continue to create a more enjoyable and enriching baseball culture with the Korea Professional Baseball Players Association."," he said.
On this day, Com2us prepared a Com2us Professional Baseball Play Zone where players from 10 clubs can play the game directly on the spot and held a home run race. In addition, various contents such as interview videos and behind-the-scenes stories of award-winning athletes will be prepared and presented to fans.
