A famous Chinese banker sentenced to death on corruption charges has been revealed to have married his son's girlfriend, which is shocking.

According to the South China Morning Post, a Hong Kong media outlet, an intermediate people's court in Shandong Province recently sentenced Liu Liang-geo, 63, former chairman of the Bank of China, to death and suspended his execution for two years on charges of accepting more than 121 million yuan (about 24 billion won) in bribes and illegally executing loans worth more than 3.32 billion yuan (about 659.2 billion won). All his illegally obtained property was confiscated.

He was promoted to chairman of the Bank of China in 2019 after serving as the central bank of the People's Bank of China and the Export-Import Bank of China.

At the time, he was the youngest president of the 'Big 4' state-run bank, which attracted public attention.

However, there was constant suspicion that his super-fast rise to fame was attributed to the 'huhwang' of his first wife, known as the daughter of a high-ranking official.

His complicated relationship with a woman is also under fire.

Officially, he was married four times, and it is known that there were many women in an internal relationship.

During his tenure, he often called female subordinates to the office and spent time late at night.

Shockingly, his fourth wife was his son's girlfriend.

When his son introduced his girlfriend to his family, he forced his son to part ways, saying, `I don't like her and her family's background.'

The two later broke up, but six months later, Ryu married his son's girlfriend.

The son suffered from depression due to this shock.

In addition, former chairman Ryu also showed a special affection for skiing.

According to reports, he set up a private jet and went on an annual ski trip to the Xinjiang Autonomous Region in May.

Then, in October last year, he was expelled from the Chinese Communist Party on charges of participating in illegal activities and receiving bribes.

Later, he was eventually sentenced to death in a recent trial.
