A 30-year-old woman who was reported missing in the United States about three weeks ago appeared healthy.

However, the father, who went to find his daughter, was suffering from the shock of disappearance, and unfortunately made an extreme choice.

According to CNN and other foreign media, Hannah Kobayashi (30), a Japanese-American from Hawaii, disappeared on the 11th of last month (local time) while transferring a flight to New York at LA Airport. He was later seen with the mysterious man for about nine hours, but his family could not reach her.

After receiving a report of disappearance on the 15th of last month, the police began searching for whereabouts, but could not find a clue. The cell phone was also turned off.

His father Ryan Kobayashi, 58, who was worried about his daughter, also came to LA from Hawaii and started looking for her daughter.

As a result, as anxiety grew and some kidnapping and human trafficking were raised, Ryan was found dead near LA airport on the 24th of last month. It was estimated that he made an extreme choice in response to the shock of his daughter's disappearance.

Local media in the United States reported this extensively, and police also asked for a report on Hannah's whereabouts.

However, Hannah was found to have already entered Tijuana, Mexico, on the 12th of last month.

Recently released CCTV footage of the U.S.-Mexico border revealed that he entered alone. However, since then, his whereabouts have remained unknown again.

L.A. police said "She does not appear to have been involved in human trafficking and other incidents. In addition, there is no suspicion of crime", and "We are trying to find her with the help of local agencies such as the embassy and the police, but it is not possible. I hope she will contact me voluntarily."

An official called for contact, saying, `She, too, has privacy and respects her choice, but a simple message will reassure family and friends.'

The family will reportedly travel to Tijuana, Mexico, in person to find her.
