Gyeongsang National University Hospital selected the best public health care plan for 4 consecutive years

Gyeongsang National University Hospital (Hospital Director Ahn Sung-ki) was selected as the best institution for the fourth consecutive year by winning the highest grade in the evaluation of the implementation results of the 2023 public health care plan organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare deliberates on plans established by public health care institutions such as national university hospitals and local medical centers every year in accordance with the Public Health and Medical Care Act and announces the results. This year, the evaluation was conducted based on three categories: ▲ Expanding the essential medical provision system ▲ Strengthening public health care capabilities ▲ Strengthening the foundation of the public health care system.
In this evaluation, Gyeongsang National University Hospital obtained the best rating in recognition of its achievements throughout the evaluation sector, including faithfully performing the role of a regional responsible medical institution in essential medical care, systematically carrying out projects focusing on professional human resource education and quality improvement activities to strengthen public health care capabilities, and actively linking with various institutions through integrated medical and social welfare support for the vulnerable.
Director of the hospital Ahn Sung-ki said, "The reason why Gyeongsang National University Hospital was selected as the best institution for the fourth consecutive year is because of its employees who always work hard to provide essential public medical services to local residents. We will continue to do our best to improve the quality and capacity of public health care in South Gyeongsang Province as the responsible medical institution in South Gyeongsang Province that oversees and leads public health care projects in South Gyeongsang Province."," he said.
