H Plus Yangji Hospital to Establish H+Hanoi in Vietnam...Establishment of linked therapy and remote collaboration
Dec 26, 2024
H+ Yangji Hospital has proposed a new overseas hospital model in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The 'H+ International Medical Center Healthcare & Poly Clinic (hereinafter referred to as 'H+ Hanoi')', which began full-scale medical treatment in December, is the first case in which a Korean medical corporation has entered the overseas medical market independently without a local partner. Although there has been the establishment of a clinic-level hospital alone in the past, hospital-level or higher has only advanced through cooperation with local partners.
Director of H Plus Yangji Hospital Kim Sang-il said, `By combining advanced domestic medical technology with Vietnamese medical capabilities, we will quickly establish a system of patient-specific medical care and cooperation, plant health in Hanoi and prescribe trust in Vietnam" he expressed his ambition.
The strength of 'H+Hanoi' is that it fused advanced domestic medical know-how and medical capabilities from both countries, such as local Vietnam ICT technology, through medical-linked treatment between Korea and Vietnam. It is also characterized by bold introduction of 'international multidisciplinary care', implementation of the 'Korea-Vietnam telemedicine system', telemedicine and consultation by domestic medical staff, and Hanoi medical staff are in charge of sharing real-time medical records and health examination data, and together, establishing patient treatment strategies and strengthening the competitiveness of 'AI-based digital healthcare'.
Therefore, 'H+Hanoi' is expected to be an example for many hospitals seeking to expand overseas by successfully combining advanced medical care at H+ Yangji Hospital with Vietnam ICT technology.
On the other hand, considering that severe patients can be transferred to H+ Yangji Hospital in Korea and provided with appropriate treatment such as surgery through cooperation with medical staff from both countries, and that it is difficult to grasp the importance of follow-up management only by the results when Koreans who were examined in Hanoi returned home, customized follow-up services for patients are also possible in Korea based on patient medical records and examination data shared by hospitals from both countries.
Choi (51), a resident of Hanoi, had an MRI examination at 'H+Hanoi' while contemplating examination and treatment in Korea due to suspected waist disc.
Choi's Hanoi MRI examination data was delivered remotely to H Plus Yangji Hospital in Seoul, and was diagnosed to be sufficiently possible with medication without injection treatment or surgery. Choi said "In the past, I was relieved to receive a remote consultation from a Korean specialist in Hanoi to see what could be confirmed in Korea, and now my pain has improved after treatment, making my daily life easier."
Satisfaction with local Vietnamese patients is also very high. A 35-year-old woman 'Uen Ngokban' found 'Cervical Dysplasia' with a remote reading AI test equipment for cervical cancer at the obstetrics and gynecology clinic. Afterwards, he quickly underwent a procedure in Seoul as a consultation with the obstetrics and gynecology department at H Plus Yangji Hospital. She found a condition not found in other hospitals in Hanoi in August in H+Hanoi four months later"If left unattended, it was highly likely to develop into cancer, but thanks to the latest reading equipment, I was able to detect it early and receive treatment in Korea immediately, and feel safe."," he said.
H+ Hanoi, located on the 7th to 8th floors of the 'Lotte Mall Westlake Hanoi' office building, has a total floor area of 1,500 square meters per floor, boasting a total of 3,000 square meters (about 1,000 pyeong).
The H+ Hanoi will operate the Total Health Examination Center and Polyclinic together in consideration of the market situation where the national income of Vietnam is increasing, the demand for medical services is increasing, and the number of Korean companies entering Hanoi is high.
There are 12 medical subjects, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatric and adolescent departments, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, dentistry, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, dermatology, anesthesiology, diagnostic and examination medicine, and radiology (gastrointestinal endoscopy), with 10 Vietnamese doctors and 70 medical staff and staff residing. Next year, five domestic specialists, consisting of obstetrics and gynecology, gastrointestinal endoscopy specialists, dentistry, pediatric and family medicine, will soon join.
